Intensive course
This course is intended for foreign students in the Republic of Croatia and teachers and administrative staff who come to the University of Rijeka as a part of the mobility programs (Erasmus, CEEPUS, DAAD, Soccrates, Tempus and others). It consists of 30 classes of Language Workshop and 30 hours of individual consultations. Individual classes are tailored to the needs of the students. The course may be taken within the framework of the ECTS system or outside it. Persons who have to pass the test of knowledge of the Croatian language and Latinic script in order to gain a residence permit in the Republic of Croatia and do not have the necessary knowledge may take this course, but they will not be awarded the ECTS credits.
Foreign students whose basic field of study is not Croatistics or Slavistics, and who are taking a semester at the Rijeka University, can attend an intensive course that includes 60 classes during one semester.
