It is our pleasure and joy to be able to invite you to GIREP-EPEC 2007 Conferences to be held for the first time in Opatija, Croatia.

For many years, GIREP conferences have been organized with ICPE (International Commission for Physics Education) part of IUPAP (International Union of Pure and Applied Physics). They are one of the main reference points for the international community concerned with the teaching of physics. They offer a rich environment for the discussion of physics education and research in physics education, bringing together school teachers, subject academics and didactical/pedagogical researchers...

has confirmed to be present at the GIREP-EPEC2 Conference in Opatija. Prof. George Smoot will give a special talk at the Conference Opening Ceremony, thereby giving all the participants a unique opportunity to participate in this extraordinary event.
